"I had a look around a few..."
I had a look around a few other places first and also checked what people were saying, and Wickes seemed like a solid choice. The price was cheaper for what I needed, and the delivery cost was reasonable too. Nothing fancy, but it was straightforward and I got the bits I needed sorted without any hassle.

The staff were friendly and did help me find what I needed, so that was good. It was a bit slow at times though, and it felt like no one was really sure who was supposed to be handling what. I had to wait around while they figured out who could help, which was a little frustrating. Overall okay, just wish the ownership of things was clearer...

"Pretty much right on time"
I didn’t really have to wait around at all, which was a nice surprise. They were bang on time, or at least it felt that way to me.

"really happy with our Kitchen"
Our kitchen project was handled really well from start to finish. the dates were all clear, the fitter turned up when he said he would, and the Wickes team kept chasing things up without me needing to keep asking. There were a couple of small issues along the way, but they got sorted quickly. Really happy with how it all turned out.

"Not the Most Helpful Visit"
I asked about paint and fittings, but the answers I got were vague. Anyway, I ended up standing in the aisle looking things up online myself. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, just not especially helpful

"The design itself was really helpful and…"
The design itself was really helpful and I felt like it made things clearer for me, which I appreciated. But the follow-up took a lot longer than I expected, and that made the whole experience feel a bit disappointing. When you're waiting for answers, even a good first impression can start to feel less reassuring.

"Order was fine, but support felt off"
The order itself was fine, but the whole experience after that just felt a bit off. I needed help with an issue and kept getting passed from one person to another, with no one really taking ownership. I had to keep chasing for updates myself, which got frustrating. It did get sorted in the end, but it took way longer than it should have

"I ordered through Wickes and, reading between…"
I ordered through Wickes and, reading between the lines, it felt like the fitters were trying to get in and out as quickly as possible. They were polite and friendly enough, so no issue there, but the actual finish wasn’t great. A few panels weren’t lined up properly, the sealant was messy in places, and one cupboard door still doesn’t close like it should. It also didn’t feel like they did a proper final check before leaving. I’ve had to chase to get things looked at afterwards, which has been frustrating. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely disappointing overall.

"Really helpful and quick to sort"
Had an issue with my trade order, but the Wickes team literally sorted it out so quickly. No hassle at all, easy to get hold of, and they kept me updated the whole time. Really happy with the help I got.

"Tracking works when it wants to"
Delivery showed up fine in the end, but the tracking was useless most of the time. It felt like it only worked when it wanted to, so I ended up having to chase around for updates myself. Not the worst experience, but the communication definitely could’ve been clearer

"Everything arrived as it should"
I ordered a few things from Wickes and everything turned up exactly right. No missing parts, no wrong items, which was a nice change. I was happy with the whole experience.

"Delivery was a bit of a mess"
Ordered from Wickes and, surprise surprise, the Wickes crowd kept pushing the delivery back. I didn’t really get a clear update until I chased them myself. The stuff was fine once it finally turned up, but I wouldn’t count on their delivery if I needed something on time.

"A bit hit or miss"
My local store was kind of hit and miss with stock. I went in hoping to grab a few things, and some were there, but others were missing, which was a bit frustrating. Maybe it just depends on the day, or delivery times, I’m not sure. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just not as reliable as I would’ve liked

"Damaged item sorted with no fuss"
Had a couple of kitchen panels delivered and one turned up damaged, plus a small fitting pack was missing, which was annoying tbh.

I contacted Wickes through the website and they sorted it without loads of back and forth. Replacements arrived a few days later and everything’s fine now. Mistakes happen, but they handled it well, so 5 stars from me lol...

"Quick and Easy Payment"
I went with them because I really didn’t want to deal with a long, drawn-out process, i’m glad I did. They paid quickly, there was no fuss, and everything was straightforward.

"Not awful, but honestly a bit frustrating"
I used wickes.co.uk to look for some paint and a few bathroom bits, and it was just okay. The site does work, but some pages felt annoyingly slow, which gets old quickly when you’re just trying to get a few things sorted. Finding products wasn’t too difficult, but the filters were a bit useless at times and didn’t really narrow things down properly, so I ended up clicking back and forth more than I should’ve had to. Checkout was fine in the end, but the whole experience just wasn’t very smooth. Not a disaster, but definitely not great either
